Installation of FibroScan® 530 Compact at General Oncology Hospital of Kifissia “Agioi Anargyroi.”

Endoscopiki SA introduces the FibroScan® 530 Compact by Echosens at the University Pathology Clinic of the Athens Medical School at the General Oncology Hospital of Kifissia “Agioi Anargyroi.”

The system has been installed under the supervision of the Clinic Director, Professor Ioannis Elefsiniotis, and is now fully operational, supporting advanced, non-invasive liver diagnostics.

Endoscopiki SA’s specialist team conducted comprehensive training sessions for both medical and nursing staff, ensuring the smooth integration of the system into routine clinical workflows.

The FibroScan® 530 Compact is based on ultrasound elastography technology and provides quantitative measurements of liver stiffness and controlled attenuation parameter (CAP™), which correlate directly with fibrosis stages from F0 to F4. The examination is fast, painless, and non-invasive, with results obtained in under four minutes. The system is equipped with S+, M+, and XL+ probes, enabling accurate assessment across a wide range of patient body types.

This installation enhances the Clinic’s capacity for the early detection, monitoring, and management of chronic liver disease, delivering faster, safer, and more reliable diagnostic capabilities in everyday clinical practice.
