Endoscopiki SA is proud to support the Gastroenterology Department of Samos General Hospital with the installation of advanced endoscopic technology from Fujifilm Healthcare Europe, under the supervision of Dr. Stylianos Stylianidis.
For the first time in the hospital’s history, the medical team can now perform gastroscopies, colonoscopies, as well as modern diagnostic and interventional endoscopic procedures with enhanced diagnostic accuracy and greater patient safety.
This important milestone significantly reduces the need for residents to travel off the island for specialized examinations and treatments, improving access to high-quality healthcare services for the local community.
The installation included:
- 1x ELUXEO 6000 Video Processor – Fujifilm Healthcare Europe
- 1x ELUXEO EC-760R/L Routine Colonoscope – Fujifilm Healthcare Europe
- 1x ELUXEO EG-720R Routine Gastroscope – Fujifilm Healthcare Europe
As Hospital Director Giorgos Kambouris highlighted, this marks “a significant day of joy” and the successful completion of a long-standing effort to address a critical healthcare need for the island.
