Endoscopiki SA, in collaboration with Fujifilm Healthcare Europe and Erbe Group, proudly supported EBUS Training Part One 2025, organized by Prof. Grigoris Stratakos (NKUA) in cooperation with the European Respiratory Society. The course was held on October 30–31 at the Interventional Pulmonology Unit of the 1st Department of Pulmonology, NKUA Medical School of Athens, one of Greece’s leading reference centers for Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS). The program delivered certified, high-level theoretical and hands-on training to participating clinicians.
A major highlight of the program was the first nationwide demonstration and clinical use of the Fujifilm Healthcare Europe EB-710US EBUS bronchoscope, a next-generation device offering exceptional image clarity, enhanced maneuverability, and superior ultrasound performance, setting new standards in interventional pulmonology.
Key technical features of the EB-710US include:
- CMOS image sensor
- Field of view: 120°
- Bending capabilities: up 180° / down 90°
- Distal end diameter: 6.4 mm
- Instrument channel: 2.2 mm
The distinguished faculty— Dr. Konstantina Kontogianni, Juan Cascón Hernández, Laurence Crombag, Ph. Emmanouil, Nikos Koufos, Nektarios Anagnostopoulos, Evangelia Koukaki, Ev. Balis, Ioannis Athanasopoulos, and Vlasis Vitsas—shared their expertise and guided participants through contemporary EBUS techniques and clinical applications.
